FOLLOWING my previous letter yesterday of open questions to Newport City Council regarding their plan to turn St Julian’s Park/Woods into a nature reserve, herewith today’s very reassuring replies:
1) There will be no access restrictions. Please refer to the Allt Yr Yn LNR arrangements. There is no connection whatsoever to the Celtic Manor Resort.
2) No.
3) Nothing has been decided yet.  But please refer to the Allt Yr Yn LNR as an example.
4) No buildings are proposed. No hard paths are proposed. No roads are proposed. Possibly kissing gates around the periphery of the site (similar design to the other access points currently around the site to prevent off road motorcyclists). Please refer to the councils other LNR at Allt Yr Yn.
5) There should be no litter or vehicle problems. Please refer to the councils other LNR at Allt Yr Yn.
