WHATEVER you think of the upcoming election of the Labour leadership or the various candidates, I am greatly concerned by the actions of a number of Tories taking advantage of a suspect system that allows them to join the Labour party in order to vote in that election.Their actions undermine the very principles that underpin our democracy. They should be ashamed of their attempt to usurp the outcome of that contest. It says a lot about the membership of the governing party as to what lengths they will go to hang on to power.
