RE: Town Cllr Davies’ letter (17.9.15) where he complains that money used to pay senior officers could offset the cost of Christmas lights. Cllr Davies’ statement displays a complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the facts, and employment law, which is very worrying when you consider that he sits as a school governor and Town Councillor. Is he suggesting that Caerphilly County Borough ignores employment law and that employees of Caerphilly should not be afforded the same rights as everyone else?
Thankfully we live in country where people are innocent until proven guilty, where the rule of law is afforded to all; sadly Cllr Davies appears to struggle with this concept, which is enshrined in British law.
