THE human embryo will suffer further abuse, as gene-editing gets the go ahead.
Decades of embryo research has delivered no significant benefits to patients, while abusing and destroying millions of human beings in the laboratory.
John Wyatt, an emeritus professor in ethics at University College London said: It is striking that pretty much every developed country has outlawed this particular technique and the UK will be the first country in the West where it will be carried out legally. I wonder, do the British public understand why other countries have made it illegal?”
“The claim that embryo research in the UK is well-regulated is a joke, and very misleading.
The HFEA simply goes through the motions of ticking boxes, to hide its default position of helping scientists bypass ethical boundaries.”
This is another move in the direction of full-scale genetic modification of human beings, which is contrary to agreed international standards.
