I AM RESPONDING to Lyndsey Hayes’ letter of August 17.
Firstly, I am surprised to learn that Newport Transport may withdraw its services to St Julians due to lack of support.
As a resident of St Julians, I have always found this service well supported.
Secondly, Ms Hayes states that many of the bus stops/ shelters do not display the Newport Corporation timetables when, in fact, they do, and that all the stops/shelters display the NAT timetables, which they don’t.
The NAT notices simply state to refer to the website for the timetables.
All this aside, my main criticism is that both the N5 and N6 run at exactly the same times as the 26A and 26C!
