RECENTLY I witnessed a distressing scene, it was the kind of thing masses are fleeing a war torn country.

People crammed into train carriages, struggling for fresh air, wailing infants piled into the suitcase rack, frail pensioners slumped against the walls. All riding on over priced and out of date trains.

Rail fares have increased twice as fast as wages in the past ten years, according to research by the TUC.

Like Jeremy Corbyn, Plaid Cymru have campaigned for the re-nationalisation of the railway.

Welsh Labour have a chance to turn the Welsh railways into a not for profit company, just like Welsh water.
