Argus report July 5th 2018 I think that it is great news that the Post Office is proposing to relocate from its current site in the Kingsway Centre to 174-176 Upper Dock Street. The new site will be only a stone's throw away from both bus stations making access for the elderly and disabled a lot easier than it is now. The proposed new office will be run by a retail partner and opening hours will be extended to seven days per week and there will be seven serving positions. The post office has started a period of local public consultation which ends on 15th August 2018. It is proposed that the new Post Office will open during October 2018. The questionnaire can found online at www.postofficeviews.co.uk and typing in the code 019632 or postcode of the Kingsway branch which is NP20 1EB or comments@postoffice.co.uk or by telephoning 03452 66 01 15. Further information can be obtained from the Post Office in the Kingsway Centre.
