Newport council has sold a building plot opposite where I live in Clevedon Road. The guide price was £36,000 plus, it far exceeded that to the magnificent sum of £122,000. Perhaps they could put sum of the proceeds to reopening our public convenience especially the ones in Caerleon. But I very much doubt it.
