FURTHER to my letter regarding the work being carried out at the George Street/Commercial traffic light junction, when I saw the short link road between Kingsway and this junction I assumed – wrongly – that a roundabout was being created.
I openly stand corrected as it appears that the work was to change the features in the island.
Personally, I feel that the expenditure here would have more benefit by being spent on the Belle Vue Lane junction.
