IT APPEARS Dai Mitchell, Blaina, is still sulking over the loss of council leader, Des Hillman, MP Dai Davies and AM Trish Law, all three ex-Independents.
Dai is crying foul on our new Labour AM, Alun Davies. He has accused Alun of not caring about Blaina or bothering to attend the raising of the flag, Civic Centre, Ebbw Vale.
In my opinion, he is out of order when, using his position as secretary of the local Royal British Legion, to assume Alun Davies doesn’t care for the people of Blaina, or that he has shown a lack of respect towards brave service men and women who fought and died for us all.
Had Mr Mitchell done his homework he would have known that Alun Davies has a strong record of working with the Royal British Legion and other armed forces over a number of years.
