Lee Smith, whose family attend St Julian’s Methodist Church, would like to thank everyone who supported his remarkable fundraising for the Noah‘s Ark Appeal.
Lee competed in the Ironman Triathlon swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles and running a full marathon of 26.2 miles.
Nine months of training prepared him for his thirteen hour ordeal in which he ended up 667th out of over 1600 competitors and 148th out of 318 in his age category.
This magnificent achievement raised £3,450 for the Children’s Hospital of Wales.
