James May has revealed the Grand Tour episode which stands out as his favourite.
The show ran on Prime Video from 2016 to 2024, starring May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson following their departure from BBC's Top Gear.
A final episode, The Grand Tour: One For The Road, was released last year, filmed in Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Now, May has talked candidly about his favourite episode.
On a recent podcast, he was asked which memory, out of the many that the trio presented, stood out above all else: "Beach buggies. There was a moment when we were in Namibia, where I got separated from the other two because I had some sort of small problem with the ignition or whatever.
"And I drove across over the sea inland across the sand dunes as the sun was going down, on my own, in a beach buggy, and I remember it was a magical moment.

"It was great fun and I also thought, I never ever predicted this, you know. At the age of 15 or even 20, if someone had said, 'What's the most unlikely scenario you're going to end up with, as a job?' I could never have conjured that up."

May presented three seasons of Our Man In..., the programme where he visited Japan, Italy and India.
Each season focused on each country, and they were released in 2020, 2022 and 2024, respectively.
Sadly, there will be no more of that particular show. May previously revealed to Yahoo UK: "Well, Our Man In... is actually finished, they don't want any more of that, so I won't be doing that.
"But that does take you away from home for a long time, which I wasn't so keen on these days anyway."
