TWO Newport Gwent Dragons will tour Japan with Wales after head coach for the two-Test series Robin McBryde named his 27-man squad this afternoon.

Lock Andrew Coombs, who shone in his country’s Six Nations title-winning side after making his debut in February, makes the trip as does utility back Tom Prydie.

There is no room for Gwent region hooker Sam Parry, 21, who was called up to train with a pre-tour squad after Scarlets front rower Ken Owens got injured.

He misses out to Scarlets hooker Emyr Phillips and the Ospreys’ Scott Baldwin.

Cardiff Blues second row Bradley Davies leads the party who play Japan in Osaka on June 8 before meeting them again in Tokyo on June 15.
