Chris Coleman's men were put through their paces at their state-of-the-art training base as the special audience of 700 and the media looked on.
Bale and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey were the main attractions for the locals.
Midfielder Joe Ledley took part in the session just a month after suffering a broken leg playing for Crystal Palace.
Liverpool's Joe Allen and Reading striker Jal Robson-Kanu also trained and look set to start in Saturday's Euro 2016 Group B opener against Slovakia in Bordeaux.
Newport's Chris Gunter (above with Ramsey) and James Collins were also involved, while captain Ashley Williams looked to have recovered from a knock he picked up in Sunday's friendly defeat in Sweden.
