ANDREW Selby added the vacant IBF inter-contintental flyweight belt to his British title with a seventh-round stoppage of Jake Bornea at Wembley Arena.
St Joseph's star Selby, who has now fought and won seven times as a professional, delivered another impressive performance in North London.
Bornea, from the Philippines, had lost just once in 12 outings going into the clash with the Welshman.
Selby, a two-time European champion as an amateur, has his sights set on a shot at a world title next year.
His brother Lee is the current IBF world featherweight king.
Meanwhile, in Weston-super-Mare, Pontypool's Kieran Gething started his pro career with a draw against journeyman Kevin McCauley.
The four-round light-middleweight bout at the Grand Pier was scored 38-38.
Gething admitted on Twitter afterwards that he was "very disappointed" with the decision but enjoyed the experience.
The contest was the 150th for McCauley in the pro ranks.
