NEWPORT County AFC are appealing for supporters to come forward and give information after launching an investigation into a number of incidents following the FA Cup defeat to Plymouth Argyle at Rodney Parade on December 21, writes Ryan Robinson.
The club are seeking information from the game with regards to a flare being thrown onto the pitch as-well as coins being launched at the fourth official.
In a statement the club said: “Newport County AFC will not tolerate such behaviour and anyone found bringing flares into Rodney Parade will have a sanction applied.
"The majority of our supporters act in an impeccable manner but unfortunately we are let down at times by a minority.
"The club is appealing to the true supporters to identify those that were responsible to enable the club to take appropriate action."
If you do have any information with regards to these incidents, which are believed to have occurred in the Hazell Terrace, you can contact the club via email at office@newport-county.co.uk or alternatively you can phone 01633 481986.
