FORMER Dragons back row forward Ieuan Jones has left Bargoed for Principality Premiership rivals Neath.
The 25-year-old, who came through the ranks at Rodney Parade before spells with Cardiff Blues and the Ospreys, started last season at Cross Keys.
The number eight/blindside moved from Pandy Park to Bargoed, where he played his junior rugby, but will now move west to the Gnoll.
“I’m still only 25 so I still want to be in an environment and a rugby programme where I’m learning, developing and challenging at the top-end of the league," said Jones, who made 32 appearances for the Dragons between 2011and 2014.
Earlier this summer Neath announced the signings of loosehead Luke Garrett and lock Scott Andrews following their release by the Dragons.
