DRAGONS lock Brandon Nansen has been named in the Samoa squad for their autumn internationals.

The 24-year-old will look to add to his three caps when the Samoans lock horns with USA, Georgia and Spain.

Nansen has played in all six games, three starts and three appearances off the bench, since joining the Dragons from Stade Francais.

The lock will only miss one Guinness PRO14 fixture - against Edinburgh at Rodney Parade on Sunday, November 25.

Nansen, Rynard Landman, Matthew Screech, Joe Davies and Huw Taylor will be the second row options for the November 3 trip to Connacht as captain Cory Hill will be in action for Wales against Scotland, a game that takes place outside World Rugby's Test window.

Warren Gatland names his squad next Tuesday with Elliot Dee, Leon Brown, Ollie Griffiths, Aaron Wainwright, Ross Moriarty, Tyler Morgan and Hallam Amos hoping to get call-ups to join Hill for the clashes against the Scots, Australia, Tonga and South Africa.
