PILL AFC moved to the top of the Premier X after a 5-3 win against Malpas. Dudley Huggins (2), Darren Berry (2) and Tristan Chambers got the goals.

St Julians Youth retained their unbeaten record with a 2-1 win over Marshfield. Jason Lewis got both goals. Three goals from Elliott Wilford (2) and Luke Casagrande gave Caerleon their first win of the season, 3-2.

Pill Hibernians beat Pontnewydd United 2-1 with goals from Jodie Campbell and Shaun Bailey. Llanwern RTB were too strong for Oakfield winning 7-1 with goals from Arron Lewis (4), Andrew Foster, Robert McCarthy and Kris Cowhen. Llanwern Sports and Social and Ship and Pilot played their Senior Bowl game with Ship and Pilot going through to the second round after a 4-1 win.

Cwmbran Celtic held on 1-0 against AC Pontymister to go top of the Premier Y. Four goals from Nicky Parkes (2), Sean Bellanato and Sean Cotter gave Malpas Gladiator a 4-1 win against Coed Eva Athletic. Rogerstone hammered Villa Dino Christchurch 6-1 with goals from Mark Townsend (2), Steve Chard, Chris Heath, Stuart Williams and Matthew Jeffrey.

Two goals from Liam Healey and Chris Wood gave Civil Service a 2-1 win over Lliswerry. Two goals from super sub Andy Inson and one each from Mark Brittan and Mark Stoneman gave Albion Rovers a 4-1 win against Lucas Cwmbran. Trethomas Bluebirds won 7-1 against a weak Cromwell Youth side.

The Royal Mail lead the Division One table after a 7-2 win against Caerleon Town. John Howie (2), Chris Jones, Clark Chamberlin, Tom Williams, Chris Tribbeck and Andrew Morris got the goals. Three goals from Jason Awater, Neil Sims and Gary Mills gave Villa Dino Christchurch a 3-1 away win over Lliswerry. A brace of goals by Paul Foster gave Croesyceiliog a 2-0 win against Cwmcarn Athletic.

A Carl Bale hat-trick and two from Chris Walsh gave Shaftesbury Youth a 5-2 victory over Spencer Old Boys. Goals from James Roden (3), Lewis Boyd, Richard Stuart, John Richards, Lee Harris, plus an own goal, gave Tradesmans Arms an 8-1 win against Marshfield. Newport Corries and Albion Rovers drew 1-1.

In Division Two, Cwmbran Celtic stay top after a 2-1 win against Ship and Pilot. Goals from Jamie Thompson (2), Kevin Davies, Ashley Doney and Paul Lewis gave St Dials a 5-1 win over Graig-y-Rhacca. Malpas posted a 3-1 win over Royal Mail with goals from Ryan Gibbs (2) and Simon Strickland. Five goals from Jordan Sutton (3), David Phillips and Basil Wharton gained Lliswerry a 5-2 win against Cosmos. Rogerstone made it a club double after the seconds beat Riverview Hibernians 4-2. Their goals coming from Matthew Brunnock (2), Jason Carter and Graham Thornton. Pill AFC were held to a 1-1 draw by AC Pontymister.

Division Three leaders Llanwern Sports and Social smashed the Greenhouse FC 8-1 with goals from Nathan Murphy (3), Garry Tovey (2), Ashley Hart (2) and Scott Rainbow. Three goals from Simon Cook (2) and Norman Parselle gave Pill a 3-1 win against Malpas. Bettws Social Club continued their high scoring start to the season with an 11-3 win over Newport Galaxy. Their scorers were Sean Watkins (2), Matthew Davis, Robert Griffiths, Anthony Woodcock and Gary Laws filled his boots with six.

Royal Mail was made to fight hard by Cwmbran Centre YP for their 4-3 win. Adam Morgan (3) and Nicholas Sweet got the goals. Racing Club Newport won 2-0 against The Darren with Chris Desmond getting both goals. The local derby between Malpas Gladiator and Albion Rovers ended in an 8-0 win for Malpas, Richard Commons (5), Kyle Davies (2) and Rhys Clarke got the goals.

In the Sunday League Division One the shock result was Llanwern United's 6-0 defeat at home by Cwmbran Athletic. Kirk Hick (4) and Jordan Ryan (2) got the goals for Athletic. Coronation Club hammered Bettws Social Club 12-1 with goals from P Hiscocks (3), J Lakes (3), L Morgan (3), J Lilygreen, J Thompson and G Chambers.

The Redwood Club sorted out their team problems to gain an 11-0 win over New Age Revolution. Rhys Talbot (6), Gavin Thomas (4) and Liam Kidman (2) got the goals. Three goals from David Pearce (2) and Kyle Humphries gave Drakes FC a 3-2 win over Real Bettws.

TRW are the new leaders of Division Two after a 4-0 win against Athletico Allsorts. Richard Jones (2), Darren Wheatstone and keeper Andrew Bailey got the goals.

The Pioneer and ND Celtics shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Oddfellows Arms were 4-2 winners over Royal Mail. Richard Thompson (2), Dave Powell, Chris Phillips and Anthony Scarf were the County Athletic scorers in their 5-3 win over AC Haymakers.
