FAIRFORD Town got back on track in emphatic with an impressive 3-0 win at Bishops Cleeve in the Hellenic Premier Division.
Robbie James got things underway with a thunderbolt from distance to give the visitors the lead half an hour into a competitive all-Gloucestershire encounter, that had seen six bookings during the opening 45 minutes.
The score remained 1-0 going into the break and captain Callum Preece doubled the advantage with a penalty just after the hour.
Danny Gudger wrapped up the win 10 minutes from time with his third goal in as many games to give Jody Bevan’s men their third consecutive league win.
Fairford are on the road again next Saturday at Lydney Town.
