DRAGONS boss Ceri Jones has beefed up his pack for tomorrow’s Judgement Day derby against the Scarlets but is without Wales centre Tyler Morgan.

Jones makes two changes to the side that lost to the Cheetahs for the Guinness PRO14 finale at Principality Stadium (kick-off 3pm), both up front with a view to the set piece battle.

Lloyd Fairbrother gets the nod at tighthead with World Cup hopeful Leon Brown dropping down to the bench while Lewis Evans moves back to blindside flanker with Joe Davies coming in to add some bulk at lock.

South Wales Argus: RECALLED: Dragons lock Joe DaviesRECALLED: Dragons lock Joe Davies

Grand Slam winner Elliot Dee captains the side from hooker with former Wales loosehead Ryan Bevington to his left.

Brown is joined among the replacements by experienced front row duo Richard Hibbard and Brok Harris as the Dragons attempt to stand firm at the scrum after being marched backwards in the last three meetings with the Scarlets.

The inclusion of Davies means Evans returns to the back row after being converted to lock this season while teenage flanker Taine Basham will be charged with adding energy from the bench.

The backs are unchanged from Bloemfontein because Morgan failed a late fitness test on the shoulder that he injured against the Ospreys at the end of last month.

That denies the fives-times capped centre a chance to impress Warren Gatland before he names his World Cup training squad on Tuesday after being left out for the Six Nations.

Former Springbok Zane Kirchner and Wales wing Hallam Amos are selected out wide on their farewell performances for the Dragons, meaning that Jared Rosser has to be content with a place on the bench after signing a new contract this week.

The Scarlets make just one change to the side that hammered Zebre last time out with former Cross Keys lock Lewis Rawlins out with a shoulder injury.

Josh Helps starts with David Bulbring on the bench where he is joined by back rower Blade Thomson, who hasn’t played since November because of concussion.
