BOSS Michael Flynn faces a reunion with former club Gillingham after his Newport County AFC team was drawn away to the League One outfit in the first round of next season's Carabao Cup.
The game at the Gills' Priestfield Stadium in Kent will take place in the week commencing August 12, with Exiles fans facing a six-hour round trip for the midweek tie.
Flynn made more than 100 appearances for Gillingham between 2005 and 2007 after joining them from Blackpool.
The last meeting between Gillingham and Newport was in February 1987 when the teams drew 1-1 in Division Three, now League One.
County also found out today that they will host Mansfield Town on the opening day of the League Two season.
