A SPECIAL event raising money for two charities and in memory of late mother-of-one Jade-Louise Davies takes place at Pontllanfraith RFC this Saturday.
‘Jade Fest’ kicks off at 3pm and runs into the night with plenty on offer for children and adults alike.
Among other things, there will be magicians and face painting for youngsters up until 7pm, before the grown-ups can enjoy live music and fire eaters.
A raffle featuring boxing memorabilia donated by the likes of Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Gennady Golovkin is also being held.
Headway Cardiff at Rookwood Hospital and children’s charity 2 Wish Upon A Star are the good causes to benefit from the fundraiser.
The event was planned after the sudden death of Jade-Louise, the sister of unbeaten pro boxer Kody Davies, earlier this year aged just 30.
Pontllanfraith RFC clubhouse in Tram Road (NP12 2JF) is the venue for Saturday's big event.
