BROK Harris has been declared fit to bolster the Dragons front row for tomorrow’s Guinness PRO14 clash with Glasgow at Rodney Parade (kick-off 3pm).

The South African prop suffered a blow to the head in the second minute of the loss to Connacht a fortnight ago and the scrum faltered badly in his absence.

The 34-year-old has been given the green light to start against the Warriors with prospect Josh Reynolds preferred to Jack Cosgrove, who made his debut against the Irish province, as his back-up.

South Wales Argus: WELCOME RETURN: Ollie GriffithsWELCOME RETURN: Ollie Griffiths

Director of rugby Dean Ryan makes two changes to his XV with Ollie Griffiths, who has been out since suffering a groin strain on opening weekend, returning at number eight for the injured Lewis Evans while Jac Dixon is back at inside centre, Adam Warren shifting to 13 at the expense of Tyler Morgan.

There are five new faces on the bench with Reynolds, hooker Rhys Lawrence, flanker James Benjamin, scrum-half Luke Baldwin and fly-half Arwel Robson coming in.

Benjamin is back after freak injury in pre-season training when he damaged a tendon by getting his finger caught in a jersey.

Robson is hoping for his first senior action since damaging knee ligaments last December while Baldwin will make his Dragons debut after signing on loan from Worcester in the summer.

The Warriors head into the game on the back of a first win of the season against Cardiff Blues at Scotstoun.

They are boosted by the return of Niko Matawalu after his World Cup exploits with the livewire Fijian slotting in on the wing rather than at scrum-half.

"Niko has been bouncing out of his skin to play since he came back. He brings a lot of energy and we’re looking forward to seeing him back out there," said Glasgow boss David Rennie.

"We’re well aware of the challenge ahead at Rodney Parade. They’re a handful, a tough pack with genuine game breakers out wide."
