HALLAM Amos will face his former teammates when he lines up at full-back for Cardiff Blues against the Dragons on Boxing Day.
The Wales international swapped Newport for the capital in the summer and the 25-year-old has a swift reunion after his World Cup exertions.
Amos, who made his Dragons debut in 2011 and went on to make 115 appearances, replaces Matthew Morgan at full-back in one of five changes to the Blues XV that beat the Ospreys in Swansea.
Wales back rower Josh Navidi is back after recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in Japan against France in the quarter-finals.
Flanker Olly Robinson, ex-Dragons hooker Liam Belcher and prop Keiron Assiratti come into the starting line-up.
Fly-half Jason Tovey, the Dragons’ record points scorer whose last act for the region was the Judgement Day winner against the Scarlets, is among the replacements.
The Rodney Parade region last beat the Blues in the PRO14 when they won in Cardiff on Boxing Day five years ago.
