NEWPORT County will not be selling tickets for their League Two home clash with Swindon Town on Saturday in the three hours before kick-off.

Tickets come off sale at noon on the day of the match, although the Rodney Parade ticket office will remain open for pre-purchased ticket collections.

The noon deadline, which the club has implemented based on police advice, applies to tickets bought both in person and online.

Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office from the earlier than usual time of 9am until noon.

The Kingsway club shop will be open from 9.30am until 4.30pm for the remainder of this week to purchase tickets but will not sell any on matchday.

Meanwhile, tickets for Newport’s Leasing.Com Trophy quarter-final against Leicester City U21s next Tuesday (kick-off 7pm) are now on sale.

Prices have been reduced to £10 for adults and £7 for U16s.
