NEWPORT County boss Michael Flynn will talk to Wales international Joe Ledley again about the possibility of the midfielder joining the Exiles.
The 32-year-old free agent, who has 77 caps for Wales, has been training with County while he attempts to finds a new club.
Speaking earlier this month, Ledley, who is eyeing a place in the Wales squad for Euro 2020, said he wouldn't be rule out a move to Rodney Parade.
“He’s a quality player and we’ll have a chat tomorrow (Wednesday),” said Flynn following the postponement of the Leasing.com Trophy quarter-final against Leicester City U21s.
“We’ve got to make sure that it suits both parties. We’ll get our heads together.
“I’ve known Joe for a while, he’s a great lad. He obviously said the same about me.
“If something can be done, I’m sure it could be.”
