NEWPORT County AFC will host League Two rivals Cambridge United in round two of the Carabao Cup.

The Exiles’ reward for stunning Swansea City 2-0 at Rodney Parade thanks to a Tristan Abrahams double is a home clash at Rodney Parade against the U’s.

The winners of the fixture will enjoy home advantage in round three to face either League One's Oxford United or Watford, who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

The tie will be played on either Tuesday, September 15 or Wednesday, September 16. The round three fixture is the following week.

Last season Michael Flynn’s side drew 0-0 in Cambridge and then suffered a 1-0 home defeat, although they finished two places above United in the final table.
