OLLIE Griffiths will make his first appearance since March in the Dragons' Guinness PRO14 clash against Ulster in Belfast tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).

The dynamic back row forward suffered a post-lockdown hamstring injury that meant he missed the end of 2019/20 and the start of the current campaign.

Strong-running Griffiths will make a timely return at number eight for a Dragons side without Wales back rowers Ross Moriarty and Aaron Wainwright. He joins forces with flankers Harri Keddie and Taine Basham.

Jonah Holmes has been released from Test camp to feature at the Kingspan Stadium and moves from right wing to full-back – Jordan Williams is rested after his return from ruptured knee ligaments – with Jared Rosser coming in on the flank.

South Wales Argus:

Adam Warren starts at outside centre while Nick Tompkins is on Wales duty with Jack Dixon (pictured above) his midfield partner and Jamie Roberts dropping down to the bench.

Elliot Dee and Leon Brown are away for the international period so Richard Hibbard and Lloyd Fairbrother, in the absence of the unavailable Aaron Jarvis, start at hooker and tighthead.

Greg Bateman, who made his Dragons debut off the bench against Zebre, gets a first start with Brok Harris backing him up from the bench.

Arwel Robson is the fly-half cover on the bench after Josh Lewis suffered a blow to the head in last week’s friendly loss to the Scarlets.
