THE Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) are investigating an alleged incident involving Newport's Jonathan Worsley.
Worsley was allegedly involved in a confrontation with fellow PDC Winter Series competitor Michael van Gerwen.
In a statement, issued on social media, Van Gerwen said he and Worsley had "crossed words over the marking of games".
He also said that he had called Worsley "a rat".

Van Gerwen also claimed the dispute was related to dress code and alleged Worsley "tried to lay his hands on me" when the altercation continued outside.
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) said: "The matter has been referred to the DRA, who would decide if there are any charges to answer."
Van Gerwen claimed that the issue had now been sorted after the PDC had looked into it.
However, it will now pass to the DRA to continue the investigation.
