NEWPORT County AFC will climb back into the play-off spots if return to winning ways at Rodney Parade against Colchester in League Two on Friday night.
After losing three on the spin in Newport, James Rowberry’s side need three points to stay alive in their promotion bid.
If County take the spoils then they will then have to play the waiting game before their next fixture at Port Vale on Monday, May 2.
It is possible that the Exiles hopes may have been dashed before they kick off in the Potteries, or they may to be promotion party poopers against their third-placed hosts to take it to the final weekend.
