NEWPORT County AFC cult hero and FA Cup run regular Padraig Amond has joined Woking after being released by the Exiles.
The 34-year-old Irish striker took to Twitter to say: "Delighted to have signed for Woking for the next 2 years.
"Can’t wait to get started tomorrow.
"Thanks for all the messages."
The news was greeted with messages of thanks from County fans for his years of service.
Notable contributions to the Exiles recent fortunes include scoring in every round of the FA Cup during County's incredible giant-killing run in 2018/19.
Amond signed for County in 2017, scoring 41 goals in 161 League Two appearances, as well as goals against Leicester, Man City, and Spurs in the FA Cup.
Last season, Amond made 30 appearances for Exeter, as they secured promotion to League One.
He scored five times, including the late winner away to Carlisle in April.
