Swimmer Liz Johnson was last night named Newport Sports Personality of the Year.
Liz, who won silver in the 100m breaststroke at the Athens Paralympics, was honoured at a special ceremony at the Newport Centre last night attended by the cream of the city's sporting community.
The 22-year-old, who trains at the Swansea High Performance Centre, is now targeting gold at Beijing.
