NEWPORT County AFC will lock horns with Yeovil Town again when they head to Somerset in pre-season.
The Exiles will travel to Huish Park on Tuesday, July 25 (kick-off 7.45pm) to face the Glovers, who were relegated to National League South last season.
County last locked horns with Yeovil in League Two in 2018/19 when they suffered a 6-0 humiliation at Rodney Parade in September before goals from Robbie Willmott, Ben Kennedy and Keanu Marsh-Brown earned a 3-1 win on the road in the push towards the play-offs.
Graham Coughlan’s side get their summer under way with the regular encounter with Undy AFC at the Causeway on Saturday, July 8 and have a behind closed doors friendly against Bristol City, at the Championship club’s training ground, on Saturday, July 22.
County’s League Two campaign gets under way on Saturday, August 5 with the fixtures announced at 9am on Thursday, June 22.
