NEWPORT County AFC will host League One Peterborough United in round one of the FA Cup.
The Exiles will welcome Posh to Rodney Parade on the weekend of Friday, November 1, with the winners claiming prize money of £45,000 and the losers £15,000.
The fixture is in between a home League Two meeting with Fleetwood and the trip to Tranmere.
Darren Ferguson's side have lost in the play-off semi-finals for the last two seasons but have started the current campaign in steady rather than spectacular fashion, sitting 12th with 15 points from 11 games.
County have played Peterborough just once since returning to the Football League, and that was in the southern section semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in December, 2013.
Kgosi Ntlhe put the visitors ahead and then late strikes by Grant McCann and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing secured the spoils.
Among the players to have featured for both clubs in recent times are Joe Day, Dan Butler, Andrew Hughes, Omar Bogle and Conor Washington, who made a big-money move from County to London Road.
Graham Coughlan led the Exiles on a lucrative FA Cup run last season that ended with giving eventual winners Manchester United a scare in front of a packed house in Newport in the fourth round.
