NEWPORT County picked up their first win in the Conference for 21 years with a comprehensive victory over Kidderminster Harriers at Spytty Park.

Robbie Matthews scored a screamer against his old club before two Craig Reid penalties made the contest safe for the Exiles, now unbeaten in four games and up to 13th in the league.

It was the perfect tonic for boss Dean Holdsworth who takes his charges to his old club Wimbledon on Monday (kick-off 3pm).
