NEWPORT County earned a 2-1 win at Mangotsfield as they continued their pre-season preparations.
A goal from trialist Felino Jardim put the Exiles ahead on the outskirts of Bristol before former County man Gary Colborne equalised for the hosts.
The winner came from an own goal in the last 10 minutes.
