A CHANCE to see some of British cycling’s biggest names is on offer as Team GB riders continue their preparations for the Rio Olympics and Paralympics.

Stars including Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish, Laura Trott and Abergavenny’s Becky James will be in Newport to hone their skills ahead of the trip to Brazil.

They are set to take part in training camps, hosted by Newport Live, at the Wales National Velodrome situated in the Newport International Sports Village.

The public can watch as the riders are put through their paces and really get an insight into the work that takes place before a major competition.
