THEY have waited six months already and now Cwmbran Celtic must sweat for another 48 hours to find out their fate for the season, writes Michael Pearlman.

As exclusively reported in Argus Sport, the club who finished fourth from bottom of Welsh League, Division One, last term, are yet to play a minute of league action this season after a row with the Football Association of Wales who want them to take a place in Division Two, despite not being relegated.

Celtic are yet to kick a ball in anger in the league this season and the matter was addressed on Tuesday when Celtic and representatives from the Welsh League met at FAW headquarters in Cardiff where an independent arbitration tribunal was conducted by a prominent sports’ barrister.

He has asked for time to consider his verdict, which will be delivered on Friday.
