MIDFIELDER Taylor Maloney's loan spell with Newport County AFC has been terminated and he has returned to parent club Charlton Athletic.
The 20-year-old played 16 times for County, scoring a hat-trick in the 7-4 win over Cheltenham Town in the Leasing.Com Trophy in November.
Manager Michael Flynn was critical of the youngster for his part in Ben Tozer's late equaliser for Cheltenham in League Two on New Year's Day.
Following his departure, Flynn said: "I'd like to thank Taylor for all of his efforts whilst at the club, as well as Charlton Athletic for allowing this move to happen.
"Everyone connected with Newport County AFC wishes Taylor all the best in his future career."
