TWO beaches in the Tivyside area have been voted among the top-10 beaches along the Welsh coast.
The VisitWales website asked people to vote for their all-time favourite beaches, with Mwnt coming in at number eight and Poppit Sands at number six out of more than 250 locations.
Top spot went to Barafundle Bay, in Pembrokeshire, with Tenby second and Rhosilli in third.
Another recent survey carried out by DisneyLife named Aberporth beach as the third best in the UK to have a picnic while Cardigan was named as one of the top-10 best places to live in Wales. The accolade came in The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Live in Britain’ guide.
