A CHEESE cafe is set to re-open its doors under new owners.
Holy Cheesus, in Bridge Street, Newport, proved an instant hit as soon as it opened back in 2017.
But two months ago its owners announced that the business would close.
In a statement, owner Vernon Tessio said: "This will undoubtedly come as a shock to everyone but, due to personal reasons, we made the tough decision and closed the doors to our beloved Cheese Church for the last time."

Taking to Facebook, Mr Tessio has now revealed that he is "super excited" that a new owner has been found.
The message read: "I’m super excited to announce that the shop shall be heading on a new adventure with its cheese-tastic new owner.
"We’ve been assured that you’ll still be able to pick up your favourites such as the Chilli Con Carnage, MAC Daddy and Nacho Nacho Man.
"Plus there will be some brie-lightful new additions to look forward to.
"I’m so glad to have saved the shop as Newport doesn’t need another empty one and you lovely lot need your cheese fix.
"Once again a huge thank you for joining us on our chapter of the journey. What a rollercoaster ride it was. Please welcome the new owners with loving arms and give them the support you kindly gave us.
"Looking forward to being on the other side of the kitchen soon."
