PEOPLE in Caerphilly county borough are being asked to find alternative ways to pay for their Meals on Wheels service – as the council are no longer accepting cheque payments.
Many people who use the service usually give the team cheques on delivery - but, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, this is now stopping to protect the health and safety of staff.

There will be no change to the delivery of the service, but customers are instead asked to call the office on 01443 864055 to make a payment or to set up a direct debit.
