WELSH comedian Rob Brydon and broadcaster Wynne Evans are putting on an evening of entertainment to raise vital funds for Tenovus Cancer Care.

Gavin and Stacey star Brydon has been raising thousands of pounds to help Tenovus Cancer Care support cancer patients and their loved ones.

‘A night in with Rob Brydon’ takes place on Friday, June 12 and will be streamed live on the internet, with tickets to view the one-off special event priced at £10.

It will be hosted by singer and broadcaster Wynne Evans, a fellow Tenovus Cancer Care patron, and also feature performances from the charity’s Sing with Us choirs and a live prize draw.

Mr Brydon said: “As a proud patron of Tenovus Cancer Care, I am happy to be able to help the charity raise money so it can continue to support cancer patients in communities across Wales.

“Having supported Tenovus Cancer Care for more than a decade, I know how much cancer patients value the services the charity provides and keeping those services going during the coronavirus crisis and beyond is very important.

“I’d love as many people as possible to join me for some fun and plenty of laughs, as we raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity.”
