CWMBRAN'S F Hinds jewellers has celebrated the 50th anniversary since the opening of the store in The Mall.
The shop first opened its doors on October 14, 1971 and has since become a well-known and loved part of the local community.
The F Hinds store, which employs six people was the 36th F Hinds to open. The company is also celebrating another landmark this year, having launched 165 years ago in 1856.
Ryan Mayers, manager of the F Hinds store, said: "This is a wonderful milestone for our store. We are incredibly proud to be celebrating 50 years of service to our local community.
Jeremy Hinds, sales director at F Hinds, said: “We are very proud of the team at our Cwmbran store and for reaching 50 years, which shows an incredible service to the company.
"F Hinds is a family-owned and run business and we are grateful to each and every person who provides an amazing customer service and experience. Thank you Cwmbran, we wish you the very best for the future.”
F Hinds employs more than 1,000 staff across 115 stores in the UK, including its Chapelle branded stores.
