A city centre coffee shop has closed down suddenly.
Costa Coffee located on Commercial Street in Newport has closed its doors for trade and it is unknown as to why the store has shut.
The franchise has confirmed that ‘all team members have been redeployed to their nearby stores.’
Inside the Commercial Street’s Costa, the lights have been turned off and all the produce has been removed.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the Costa Coffee store on Commercial Street in Newport has closed its doors for trade.
“All team members have been redeployed to our nearby stores. Customers can continue to enjoy their favourite Costa coffee at our Drive Thru store on Usk Way in Newport, or to find your nearest store, click here.”
