JONES Christopher John (Chris) Originally from Rumney, Cardiff, Chris lived for many years in West Pontnewydd & Llanyrafon, Cwmbran and latterly in Porthcawl. Long time member and past Captain of Tredegar Park Golf Club and past President of South Wales Coast Golf Captain's Society, Royal Corps of Signals. Died peacefully in Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court Home, Porthcawl on 14th April 2015 after a long battle fought with courage and determination, aged 86 years. Devoted husband of Mair who died in January 2015, dad of Heather and Christine and their husbands Rodger and Martyn; also proud and much loved grandpa of Beth, Bampa of James and Jonathan. Funeral at Cowbridge United Free Church, Westgate, Cowbridge CF71 7AQ on Tuesday May 5th at 11.45am followed by Coychurch Crematorium at 1.15. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Velindre fund raising Velindre Cancer Centre, Whitchurch, Cardiff CF14 2TL. Club/Society or Regimental Ties. Contact Thomas Brothers 01446 775681.
