CHEADLE Michael (Chunky) Passed away peacefully at St David's Hospice on 28th December 2017 aged 69 years. Loved husband of Enid, Devoted father to Sally, Angela and Lesley, Dearly loved Grandad of Cerys-Mae and father in law of Adam At the family's request a dress code of black and amber is optional Resting in the private Chapel of Michael G Ryan Son and Daughters Ltd., 106-108 Malpas Road City of Newport until funeral Friday 26th January 2018 Service at the Greater Gwent Crematorium Chapel 10:30am prior to Cremation Immediate Family flowers only please However, if desired donations would be appreciated for St David's Hospice Care C/o the funeral home. Following the funeral all are welcome to join the family for light refreshments at the Windsor Club, to share memories, pay tribute and celebrate Mike's life. All enquires 01633 854522

I had started there as 15 year old and one of my daily jobs was to go to see the woodshop manager, who scared me to pieces.
Usually though Mike was there and always helped me get through it!
Thus began the best of friendships strengthened by our mutual love of "The County".
We have been through some very good times and very bad times together with the county but Mike was always Mike.
The very, very best of friends. He was a true star and the world is so much poorer without him.
Love and sincerest condolences to Enid, Sally, Angela and Lesley.
