Abergavenny youngsters get taste of Olympic fun
BATH rugby star Andy Beattie ran a number of Olympic sports sessions with children in Abergavenny.

Mr Beattie was at Mardy playing fields, where he got 40 youngsters, aged four to 14 involved in a range of sports such as football, golf, volleyball and less conventional things like parachute racing.
There was also hockey training sessions, an obstacle course and the weather held out long enough for the children to complete some beach games.
The free event was set up by Monmouthshire Housing Association to assist children in finding a fun hobby without having to spend much money.
Community Project Officer, Jane Grayer, said: “A lot of activities are expensive to do during the summer, and so this is a cheaper option for people.”
