Anthony Vanky, partner strategist at world-renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has been confirmed as second keynote speaker for Digital 2015.

Specialising in design, technology and urbanism, he most recently played a critical role in the development of the institute’s new SENSEable City Laboratory, a new research initiative that way we design, understand and use cities.

Vanky is a trained urban designer and architect whose design work has been exhibited widely – including at the Venice Architectural Biennale, the Dutch Design Week, Gwangju Design Biennale, and New Orleans DesCours.

As part of the event’s Digital Innovation stage, which will explore the latest megatrends shaping the digital landscape for businesses and individuals, he will give insights into this latest project, how Big Data has played a role and what Welsh businesses can learn from the newest research.

He will be joined by additional keynote speaker, Ian Livingstone, the man behind franchises such as Games Workshop and Fighting Fantasy.

Dubbed, the 'Father' of Tomb Raider, Livingstone will debate the relationship between arts and sciences and how businesses and educators in the creative industries can ensure they are at the forefront of digital change.

Event organisers have also just confirmed Jonny Voon, lead technologist in internet technology at Innovate UK – one of the UK’s leading innovation agencies which funds, supports ground-breaking businesses to accelerate sustainable economic growth.

Drawing on his insights into how IoT, cyber security and Cloud can help enable the UK achieve future economic, social and environmental success, Voon will give delegates a snapshot of emerging trends and draw on his experience in developing funding programmes to aid businesses, educators and public sector organisations harness greater levels of innovation.
